Value In and Of Itself

The education experience has value in and of itself.

Although many view education as a means to an end, there is inherit value in the education experience in and of itself. 

While coursework and curriculum will ideally give learners the tools to be successful professionals, there are many invaluable experiences that can benefit the learner presently.  

Therefore, educators  are also responsible for maximizing their time and teaching the value and opportunity it is to be a "learner."
